EURO<26 youth card changed it's name! From September 2009 this European Youth Card is called 
ROCK OTOČEC FESTIVAL: Only 45,5 € (4 days) with European Youth Card in pre-sale in Slovenia.
Rock Otočec is traditional music festival held in Slovenia behind the Otočec castle by the river Krka. This year it is going to happen for the 18th time. Festival which is famous besides its musical acts also for its variety of daytime and nighttime activities, will again offer some great names of world music scene. Big stage will this year be reserved for Gogol Bordello, New Young Pony Club, Kiril Džajkovski, Kultur Shock and known local bands as Hladno Pivo, BAJAGA & Instruktori, Vlado Kreslin in Mali Bogovi, MI2, Manouche, Orlek and many more. The openning day is reserved for one of the main projects of the European Capital of Culture, spectacular rock opera called De tonacija ČlovekA z bombami of Anton Podbevšek theater, where the main music act belongs to famous slovene band Siddharta, besides many other instrumentalists and opera & rock singers. Festival will be held from 28 June to 1 July.

The festival excels in a great variety of additional activities, taking place on many different locations on the swimming area by the magnificent river Krka. A good deal of interesting events does not subside during the day nor night; stand-up comedies, numbers of workshops, funny sports and social games in water, air and in their well-known mud. For those and many other reasons has this unforgettable experience gained the title “the Paradise”.
