EURplace26

EURplace26 (as YOUR place 26) is a project involving 8 european cities that have one thing in common - they are hospitable and interesting for young people. On the basis of the criteria, the following cities were chosen: Graz, Ljubljana, Zaragoza, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Budapest, Prague, Luxembourg.

EURplace26 INFO POINTS all over Europe

The purpose of the EURplace26 project is to encourage international exchange of young people in Europe - by opening EURplace26 Info points that would welcome young travellers and offer interesting and useful information all in one place. Main qualities that every EURplace26 Info point incorporates are hospitality, offering information about accommodation, events and interesting points of the city. Ljubljana and other 7 cities have the privilege of being the first to open the world to young people and to show them their hospitality. EURplace26 Info points are mostly intended for EURO<26 cardholders, so some points also offer special EURO<26 welcome packs. Official website of the project (under construction): www.eurplace26.org.

Young people present the cities

In each of the EURplace26 cities, a young journalist (EURO<26 cardholder) was asked to write an article as "residential journalist" on his/her city. Following, these journalists visit sone of the other cities to write an article about the city as incoming traveller. The articles are then published in EURO<26 magazines and websites in over 15 languages.
