It all started in 2003, when a pilot project Youth Builds Europe started with young people taking part in youth research by method of focus groups. The goal was to collect young people’s opinion from 7 European countries about youth information services to improve the current situation.
Because of extreme success of the project, the concept evolved into a project called EYCAdemy. In 17 countries a research is simultaneously conducted on different themes. The project now also includes a 3-year training programme for young people in methods of qualitative youth research. More information
